In 2003, Eric Halverson founded Qualitas Equity Partners with his partner Iñigo Olaguíbel. Qualitas is an alternative investment group with over €3 billion in assets under management in private equity, renewable energy, real estate and fund of funds. In 2015 Mr. Halverson along with Sergio Garcia launched Qualitas Funds, a pan European private equity programme that invests and co-invests with the best European lower mid-market private equity funds. Mr. Halverson has also led numerous successful direct investments in Spain and served as a member of the Board of Directors in all of them. Before founding Qualitas, Mr. Halverson worked at UBS Capital as Investment Director, where he led investments worth over €450 million in value, and at the Corporate Finance department of UBS Warburg, advising companies on mergers and acquisitions and capital raising. Mr. Halverson began his career at McKinsey & Co. as an associate, providing management consulting services to large companies in Spain and Scandinavia. Eric Halverson holds a degree in Economics from Cornell University, and Masters’ Degrees from Cambridge University and from Harvard University.
